The plan is to leave West Palm with a weather window that will get us at least to Charleston, SC or Beaufort. If the weather allows for going around Cape Hatteras we will continue on. One assured stop is NYC for a few days before going back into the ocean to Newport with a potential stop to Block Island. Note that we will not be going up the Chesapeake Bay. If crew has time to wait for weather windows this should be mostly a sailing trip. The vessel sails well and the predominant winds at that time of year should be in our favor. Please note that while all expenses will be paid by boat owner, dockage in NYC is shared by crew. This amounts to approximately 70 dollars per person per night for a front row view of Manhattan.

Crew roles: Crew is expected to stand watch, help keep the boat clean and cook in turns. If a crew takes on all the meals for the trip he/she does not do any night watches. The boat will be coming out of the yard and the crew is not expected to assist in any maintenance. Watches will be done alone unless there is bad weather in which case there will be one crew on watch and one on standby. Watch schedule is 4 hours from 0600 to 2400. 2 hours from 2400 to 0600
