Hi sailors ! I'm Marco, skipper of Mad Max. I'm a commercial Master of Yachts 200gt unlimited, with 90.000 miles sailed all around the world. This year it is going to be the fourth crossing for me, so I know exactly what an unforgettable experience it is and I would love to share it with YOU! The Atlantic crossing is the Mount Everest for the sailors, it will be the adventure of a lifetime for you ! Mad Max is a Comet50CL, a fast and strength sailboat of 15 mt. Built in Italy and it is prepared for category 0 code of navigation, ready for every kind of weather and sea. We will start from St. Maarten, around the first days of May, depending the weather. The idea is to go straight to Azores, but we can always think to stop in Bermudas, also this depending the weather. When we will arrive to the mythical island of Horta, we will have a beer to the famous bar of Peter, a "must to see" for every sailor !! Here we can explore the archipelago for few days and move, to reach Gibraltar. I'm open to discussing where to start and to stop during the navigation. You can choose to stay with us for all the crossing and more or leave us in Horta for example. Mad Max is going to Aeolian islands, so, if you have time, can stay with us for a lot of miles! Don’t forget the opportunity to meet other crew members and make new friends for life! We are waiting for you on board !!
