From Galle, Sri Lanka to Kilada, Greece.

January 2024 to June 2024.

I am looking to continue my circumnavigation in January 2024 when the weather conditions are at their best for crossing the Indian Ocean for a passage up the Red Sea and into the Med. I may have one crew already to join me when I leave Sri Lanka and I definitely have another crew member re-joining me in Djibouti, having left all his equipment on my yacht when he flew back to the UK from the Galapagos. I am therefore looking for one further crew member to join me in Galle, Sri Lanka and sail to Djibouti and the up the Red Sea, through the Suez Canal and into the Med. You are more than welcome to remain on board for the full length of this passage or leave at any point after Djibouti. I have my return flight to Sri Lanka booked for the 18th. January and will look to leave by the 26th. January depending on the weather window.

What roles/experience are needed (Crew 1): Watch-leader

Sailing with a Rally: Independent

I'm looking for (gender): either

Cabins/Sleeping : own cabin-own bunk

Smoking on board: non-smokers only

Total people on board: 1

Crew roles: Looking for a crew member capable of standing watch (day and night) on their own and skilled to at least Day Skipper level. If you have any other skills that might be a bonus that would be great but not necessary. Capable of mixing with crew at the 'upper age' and sociable. Must be a non smoker and one that doesn't take any type of recreational drugs. Under way this is a dry boat but we all like to have a drink when we are moored up and it is safe to. Please do not consider this role if you are restricted by a time schedule as this may be extremely difficult to adhere to.
