I have single-handed half way around the world so far. Having just tweaked my neck and back while at sea has made me realize I am vulnerable. I am after an individual to share some of the more physical activities so I can get my boat safely from point A to point B. Leg 1 –Richard’s Bay South Africa around Cape of Good Hope to Capetown (SOON! Approx start Nov 23) Leg 2- Capetown South Africa to Brazil (Approx start Dec 10) Leg 3- Brazil to Barbados in Caribbean (Approx start Jan 10) Happy to consider someone for all or each individual leg

What roles/experience are needed (Crew 1): does not matter

Sailing with a Rally: Independent

I'm looking for (gender): either

Cabins/Sleeping : shared cabin-own bunk

Smoking on board: non-smokers only

Total people on board: 2

Crew roles: Can-do attitude, positive outlook, lively sense of humor Minimum of 3 days overnight passage experience Capable of night watches Share in cooking duties (1 Michelin star preferred!) Good story-telling skills (were going to be together for a while) No smoking, drugs, or nudity Travel at own expense Shared fuel, food, and marina expenses - 50:50 split Leg 1 - $1600 total cost - $800 crew cost Leg 2 - $3000 total cost - $1500 crew cost Leg 3 - $3000 total cost - $1500 crew cost 1/3 non-refundable deposit required upon my invitation and your acceptance commitment, balance due on departure
