I am looking for a competent sailor who's looking for sea miles and offshore sailing experience. There will be only two of us onboard Stella Polaris this is shake down sail to check what might need tweaking with rigging etc. There is a comfortable saloon and berths but we will be running a watch system more relaxed during the day but 3 hour watches at night. As Skipper I'll always be availabe if not on watch to help and assist sails, course and advice with shipping. The boats is set up for solo and short handed sailing with aries wind vane and electrical auto helm. I will charge a daily rate whilst onboard of £30 or Euro equivalent. This is an important shake down sail as this is start of world solo circumnaviagation. Any tweaking will be done at Sada NW Spain before heading on futher south. You will need to have your own oilys and sleeping bag and personal clip on lifeline. You need to have warm gear especially for the night watches.

Crew roles: I'm looking for adventurous person someone who wants to gain experience offshore short handed sailing who happy doing night watches. Can function without 8 hours of continous sleep. There are local airports to get back to the UK and other desinations in Europe. Not sure the covid vaccine requirements now in Spain would be advisible to have had your two covid injections so there no issues in Spain. But I will check that closer to the departure date. Happy to have either a male or female crew person but non smoker is important. Diet wise please let me know I'm more of vegetarian these days but I do like my currys and pasta dishes. We will share the cooking together. Before we leave and arrive the other end you'll have your own bunk. Females your own cabin. Whilst sailing hot bunking obviously using you own sleeping bag.
