I and my wife are scientist, living and working in Manhattan, New York. We are sociable, fit, and psychologically stable. We own the 1998 Able Apogee 50 and sail her around New England, most recently to Maine. During the last few years, we have joined several RYA courses and gained the Coastal Skipper license plus 600 ocean miles in North Atlantic. We are sufficiently skillful in handling the boat, have reasonable navigation skills, but not particularly good in fixing the broken engine or electric wiring. We are looking for an experienced captain and qualified extra crew to sail on our boat from Connecticut to Europe in 2022. We will cover all of the provision expenses and the service fees for the captain. We are looking for a very experienced, interactive, and cordial skipper/captain for the transatlantic crossing from Connecticut, the US to Northern Europe in Summer 2022.We will cover the living expenses and the agreed skipper/captain fees. The crew compensation is negotiable.
