[ closed ] Sailing to the Bahamas United States to Bahamas ref 12702

Daniel Byrne wants 1 crew for Adventureborne, Beneteau Idylli, m.

From Fort Pierce, United States to West End, Bahamas.

March 2021 to August 2021.

I'll be sailing out from Fort Pierce Florida mid March aboard my sailboat "Adventureborne". A 1984 38'/11.5m Beneteau Idylle sloop rigged, shallow draft sailboat that I've sailed solo and with crew about 6,000nm. The boat also has two private cabins, folding swim platform, full galley and a very comfortable saloon, it's easy living on the high seas. This year I'm planning on returning to the Bahamas to further explore it's 700 islands till August 1st(or whenever I feel like leaving!). Recently I've been refitting my boat for the purpose of extended sailing adventures, while documenting the experience for my social media channels "Adventureman Dan". With a focus on spearfishing to sustain myself, friends, and fellow sailors. My goal is to showcase how wonderful life at sea can be, while sustaining ourselves from the very boat we live and travel on. When I'm not spearfishing, I love to enjoy this tropical paradise through kiteboarding, paddleboarding, surfing, wakeboarding, areal silks, beach fires, freediving, fire dancing, dinghy excursions, island hopping, and buddy boating or meeting up with fellow sailors. As well, I really enjoy teaching these things to my crew, and seeing what they can teach me! I'm looking for someone who: -Can get to my sailboat in Fort Pierce Florida by about March 10th. -Is able to crew for at least a month(would be welcome to stay longer if it works out). -*Be capable & proficient with cameras and social media.* -Is physically & mentally fit. Must be a strong swimmer. -Has a fun-loving attitude, good character, sociable, and a strong sense of adventure If you checkout my Facebook, Instagram and YouTube you'll notice the photos and videos make it all look glamorous or constantly fun & games. But I run a tight ship. Beside your regular boat chores, you will be expected to work a couple hours a day helping with photos, videos, editing, blogging & vlogging. So if you're already good here, it will put you far ahead of everyone else. If you're interested in joining shoot me a message and tell me a bit about yourself, why you want to join, and why you think you'd be the BEST crew! Thanks!
