wants 2 crew for Akela II, Hallberg Rassy 42 F mkII, m.

From Bora Bora, French Polynesia to Auckland, New Zealand.

August 2026 to October 2026.

Sailing French Polynesia (Bora Bora) to New Zealand Participants are welcome on parts of the route Bora Bora-Tonga-Fiji-New Zealand start-ing on Bora Bora August 11th, 2026. I started the journey in Portugal and I have sailed with crew one season in the Mediterranean, across the Atlantic with crew and other sailboats, two seasons in the Caribbean, crossing the Pacific and now the boat is on Bora-Bora. Before that I sailed many years in the Baltic and on the west coast of Sweden. The boat is a Hallberg-Rassy 42 (F mkII) equipped for long distance sailing (watermaker, Epirb, sattelite communication with Iridium and Starlink, liferaft, radar, AIS, VHF, large solarpanels etc). I have an apartment and office in Stockholm in Sweden where I live when I`m not sailing. I am a lawyer and I have grown up children. I am responsible, capable, reliable, un-complicated and close to laughter. I exercise regularly and rarely drink alcohol. If the above seems interesting please send a message and mention if you are interested in Bora Bora-Fiji (leg 1-2) or Fiji-Auckland/New Zealand (leg 3). Next step could be a vide-ocall. The detailed itinerary for the rest of 2026 is below. Leg 1 Depart Bora Bora August 18th, arrive Tonga August 28th. Leg 2 Depart Tonga September 1st, arrive Fiji September 5th. Leg 3 Depart Fiji September 29th, arrive Auckland (New Zealand) October 8th.
