Sail 2,600 nautical miles with us from Les Sable d'Olonne, France to Sukosan Croatia. Out into the Atlantic across the Bay of Biscay, down the Portuguese coast, through the Straits of Gibraltar and across the Med, then through the Straits of Messina (past Mt Etna) and up the Adriatic to Sukosan. We will be stopping overnight in 5 or 6 ports along the way, probably visiting Cascais, Alicante, Ibiza, Cagliari, Milazzo and of course all weather dependent. What a great way to see some exciting European towns and cities! Leaving Les Sables D'Olonne 19th/20th Feb. We are looking for crew who wish to sail with experienced skippers, gain some big miles in tidal and non-tidal waters, want to be immersed in every aspect of planning a trip such as this, learning to be a watch leader, contributing fully to life on board and experiencing all the wonderful things that spending time at sea can teach us.

Crew roles: 'When you come on this trip with us you will be signed on as crew and your logbook will reflect this. I will sign and stamp your logbook as such. We will be covering all aspects of planning, provisioning and carrying out the trip including safety and weather. You will be fully involved all the way. We will also teach a practical introduction to celestial navigation. We will all be responsible for running the boat together, including sharing the cooking, cleaning and standing watch ... don't worry, we will match your skills to your assigned tasks. You will have the opportunity to learn an incredible amount on this trip. When we arrive in Sukosan you will have sailed over 2,600 nautical miles (1,000+nm are tidal) and you will have taken a giant leap towards gaining the knowledge required to attain your Yachtmaster in the future. We ask for a contribution from crew of €500 for fuel to be paid at departure and we all share the living expenses of usually between €200 - €300 for food and berthing costs for the trip and these are only paid when we make purchases.
