[ Cancelled ] Sail and Explore the Bay of Bothnia Finland to Sweden ref 14728

Bertil Hansson wants 2 crew for Ta Hi, Mariner36, m.

From Havsvidden, Åland, Finland to Båtskärsnäs, Sweden.

July 2024 to August 2024.

Dear Crew Ta Hi is at present winterized indoors at Norrkust Marina in Båtskärsnäs, near the Swedish-Finish border in the Gulf of Bothnia. Ta Hi is a Mariner36 masthead sloop built in the US 1980, she is well fitted out for cruising. We sailed her from southern Sweden 2023 along the Swedish east coast and through the Stockholm and Åland archipelago and north to the Bay of Bothnia 2024. I am planning to sail the Gulf of Bothnia, down the Finish coast across the northern part of Åland and up the Swedish coast, a mix of open water and archipelago sailing. We are seeking crews to sail from Havsvidden in Åland to Båtskärsnäs, we will be sailing through the UNESCO World Heritage area of the High Coast. This is not a race, we will mainly do day sails of 30-50 Nm a day and we will have time to explore the various places of interest. I am planning to start the sail the first week of July and be back in Båtskärsnäs mid-August. I would like to be three on board. We will share all chores on board including navigation, route planning, cooking, cleaning and watch keeping. During the sail we will share all cost on board. Havsvidden is easy to reach by ferry and bus from Stockholm. I am seeking expression of interest from people, male/female 20 to 65 years of age with some yachting experience. If you are interested, drop me a line and I will provide more information and we will see how you will fit in on Ta Hi.
