Sail Racing Academy wants 1 crew for Escapado, Beneteau First 40.7, 11.97m.

From HAMBLE, United Kingdom to CHERBOURG, France.

August 2021 to .

One of sailing’s most classic and prestigious events, Fastnet is known as one of the most demanding off shore races to be held in British waters. Taking place every two years, it pits the best racing sailors against each other in some of the trickiest sailing conditions imaginable. Due to its demanding reputation, there is strict entry criteria for Fastnet; the yacht and crew must have completed 300 miles in offshore racing, as a team, in the year prior to the race. With this in mind, three pre-races and two training weekends are included in the price. The choice of pre-races are the Myth of Malham race, the De Guingand Bowl, the St Malo Race and the Channel race. The Myth of Malham is a 230 nm race based around the Solent on the south coast of England. The De Guingand Bowl is between 110-160 miles long, depending on the course route and is also based around the Isle of Wight and the Solent. A 151 mile race from the Isle of Wight south to the coast of France. A 110- 160 mile race around the Isle of Wight and marks in the Solent.
