An opportunity to join the well established Rally Portugal, check World Cruising web for more details. This is a good social event and the crack as we hop down the coast of Portugal puts a different angle on a long distance sail. I will be leaving from Ipswich , so opportunity to sail from there also opportunity to sail and try boat earlier in season. Will be sailing on after Rally so again a few oportunitys. Later in the Year am entered in ARC+, so opportunities for this also.

Crew roles: I have been sailing for over 10 years offshore, often brining extra crew on. We share sailing cooking and cleaning equally , however different people prefer different things so sometimes some people do more of one thing and less of another. Good sailing experience is appreciated , as it takes some stress off me when the going gets tough; but equally inexperience with a good "hands on attitude" and a desire to learn works well. There is a cost in joining the rally to be split between crew plus equal share of all food , drink and onboard expenses.
