Hi! I’m a retired professional environmental engineer and skipper since my young age. In 2012/18 I’ve been sailing my Sun Fast 43 from Sicily to French Polynesia, then I sold it there and purchased here this comfortable catamaran I just love now. We had a very good season last summer, happily sailing all around SICILY and surrounding minor islands, Egadi, Aeolians, Pantelleria, Lampedusa and Linosa included. I had many great friends and guests on board, all contributing to general costs to a various degree. This coming season I will sail again the same route we know so well, and circumnavigate SARDINIA beginning June to mid July. Please visit my website archeosailing.com for all details and costs. Crew roles: The crew I’m looking for should have good character and equilibrium, be open to new people and new experiences, love sailing of course, and nature. He/she should be ready to learn about the boat, to help keeping it clean, to help me on handling her, and become confident about my prudent, relaxed style of sailing and navigation (see my website). Living on board requires patience, flexibility, adaptability, and above all love for this way of traveling and enjoying the open sea and the company. Italian cooking will mostly be on me and sometimes on the friends/guests. I like a clean and tidy, not dirty, messy boat! Everybody should help to prevent dangers to the crew, and to the boat, and maintain the cleaning conditions good and the galley situation updated. Just a good crew on board!
