From Trapani, Italy to Trapani, Italy.

July 2019 to September 2019.

I need the help of a second on board for one month of family/guest cruise around the Egadi Islands Marine Protected Area, in front of Trapani, Sicily. The boat is my Belize 43 catamaran, 4 double bed cabins w/4 heads, plus 2 single bed crew cabins w/ a share head. The islands are really beautiful, with many protected bays and treks, the water is really clean and clear, the weather at its best. Toghether we will have to take care of the boat and of the family and guests that will have on board on a weekly rotation, with one day rest every week. Manouvring, sailing, some mooring. Also cleaning, but Italian cooking usually will be on me and the family/guests. Total of 5 weeks of work & fun, sail & swim, welcome & care. All expenses covered plus pocket money. There is the possibility to extend the position until the end of October, with more sailing and navigation around Sicily from Trapani to Eolian islands, Pantelleria, Lampedusa, Malta then back to Palermo. Blue water sailing planned for next years.

What roles/experience are needed (Crew 1): does not matter

Sailing with a Rally: None

I'm looking for (gender): either

Cabins/Sleeping : own cabin-own bunk

Smoking on board: non-smokers only

Total people on board: 6/10

Crew roles: The help I look for should have good will and character, be ready to help and prevent problems at sea and onboard. He/she should preferably have at least a minimum sailing and boating experience. Some of the family/guests will have some English capability for better communication. He/she will have own one single bed cabin, but will share the head with me. Will have the opportunity to learn some Italian language and cooking. And to share our experiences!

Money: paid position $100/week
