Peter Van Beyere wants 1 crew for Archon, Najad, m.
From Valencia, Spain to Not known, New Zealand.
January 2023 to January 2024.
Hi. My name is Peter. I am from New Zealand. Last September (2022) I purchased a Najad 441 in Greece on the Island of Aegina where I gave the yacht a througher going over and upgraded most of the electronics and auto pilots along with new toilets, sails, cooker and many other items to make sailing peacful and easy. My sailing experience goes back to 1984 where I started on sailing dingies and later onto racing yachts. This is my third yacht. The last one, a Bowman 49 sailed from San Diego via Tahiti to New Zealand, New Zealand to Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Australia, New Zealand and many miles around New Zealand. Total around 28,000nm. I am well experienced and a safe sailor, dependable and trustworthy. Like most sailors I like the outdoors and nature especially the sea. My plan is to sail from Greece where I purchased the yacht to New Zealand. I have already sailed from Greece to the Baleric islands where I am now till the end of September then to Valencia in Spain for a few weeks to provision then around the 21 of October to leave for the Canary Islands and further south till I cross the Atlantic to the Caribbean then to the Pacific, Tahiti etc and down to New Zealand. If you would like to join me for any part please send me a message out lining who you are and your experience. Kindest regards in advance. Peter

Crew roles: Hi sailor. I am looking for someone to join me with this adventure. Hopefully you would be interested in sailing, yachts and how they work and the environment. You will need some past experience and understand that it's not all sunsets and happy hours. (most of it is) At times it can be hard work while other times it can be the best part of your life as I have already found out. On board I like to have a peaceful time and without conflict. I am easy to get on with and have many years experience of the sea and sailing. I have chosen this yacht, a Najad 441 because of it's reputation and excellent build qualitie as only the Swedish can do. It's not to big or to small, just right. My last yacht a Bowman 49 was a little to big and my first a Lidgard 40 was to small. The yacht is very easy to handle in all conditions with electric in mast furling, electric primary winches, furling Genoa and furling Staysail. Two auto pilots, two plotters, all instuments, weatherfax, HF Radio, internet world wide (very slow), weather from USA (best ever), two bath rooms (heads), three showers, great galley so life onbaod is easy and being a center cockpit you are much safer. Plenty of sun protection. If you are interested ask yourself if you can get on well in a small enviroment, do you get on well with others, are you realistic in your expectations of sailing, do you really want to do this or are you using the yacht as a taxi to get from a to b with a little fun. If you are really interested in what I am trying to do please send me a message. Peter.
