[ active ] Ocean Crossing Crew Wanted: Galapagos to French Polynesia Galapagos to French Polynesia ref 15778

wants 2 crew for Kasafari, Excess 11, m.

From Isabela, Galapagos to Hiva Oa, French Polynesia.

June 2026 to June 2026.

We are Carolina and Robin, a Colombian-Swiss couple currently cruising the Caribbean on our Excess 11 catamaran. Having already crossed the Atlantic together, we are now preparing for the next major leg of our journey: the 3,000-nautical-mile passage from Isabela, Galapagos, to Hiva Oa in the Marquesas. We plan to depart at the beginning of June and are participating in the Pacific Puddle Jump rally. Our goal is to have four people on board to ensure a safe and sustainable watch rotation for the duration of the 20 to 25-day crossing. Our Excess 11 is a modern, capable catamaran that we maintain to a high standard. It is fully equipped for long-range offshore sailing with Starlink for connectivity, a watermaker, solar power, and radar. Crew will have their own large, private cabin. We are looking for two additional team members who are not just passengers, but active participants in the voyage. It is essential that you have prior blue water experience and the competence to handle independent night watches safely. This is a shared-cost voyage, meaning we will split all passage-related expenses equally among the four of us. We are looking for practical, easy-going crew who are happy to contribute to life on board, from cooking and cleaning to sail trim and minor maintenance. If you are an experienced sailor looking for a focused but social crossing on a modern boat, please get in touch with us.
