Owner and skipper Tim Richmond is looking for one crew member with significant open water experience to complete a crew of 4 for a June passage from Newport to Horta. The vessel is a 1997 Morris 46 properly fitted out for the voyage both with safety equipment and boat hardware. Expenses for the voyage are included. Further cruising to Spain, in the Med and elsewhere is foreseen, so that further opportunities are possible. The skipper (66) and first mate/cook (fiftyish) have been sailing cruising boats for 4 years including a recent passage to Bermuda and return to Newport.

What roles/experience are needed (Crew 1): Watch-leader

Sailing with a Rally: Independent

I'm looking for (gender): either

Cabins/Sleeping : shared cabin-own bunk

Smoking on board: non-smokers only

Total people on board: 4

Crew roles: Watch and boat maintenance are required. Excellent sailing and boat handling abilities are required. Previous multi-day and night ocean sailing experience is required.

Money: captain pays all expenses

Travel to and from boat: negotiable
