Join as crew or just guests for an adventure on a first class yacht. Oyster Reach is an Oyster 54 outfitted for circumnavigation. She sailed from England to New Zealand as part of the Oyster world rally. We were professional crew for the past 17 years together, and had the opportunity to purchase Oyster Reach in NZ last year. This year we will sail her from NZ to Fiji, Vanuatu, and back to NZ. The first opportunity is to crew from NZ to Fiji in late May, 2019. If you have some experience or training this is a great opportunity to escalate the learning curve, sailing with a professional couple with seventeen years of worldwide voyaging. Voyage cost is approximately $2,500 and is negotiable depending on your experience.

Crew roles: For the NZ to Fiji passage, you must have some significant sailing experience, knowing you will not be seasick. This is an off shore passage of over 1,000 nm. Once in Fiji we will be cruising till late August and welcome contributing guests. Then sail to Vanuatu which should be a four day down wind passage. We will cruise Vanuatu till early November, and look for a weather window to return to NZ.
