August 2020 to January 2021.
CORSICA, SARDINIA, & BALEARIC ISLANDS: (THEN ARC 2020) TRIP #1 May 8 to June 2nd, 2020 Crew of 3 needed to sail on SEA DREAMER a Beneteau Blue II 35 ' x 20' (10 m. x 6 m) Catamaran. We will practice offshore safety procedures; use of electronics, AIS, radar, iridium-predict wind procedures, autohelm, chart plotter equipment, etc.; Storm tactics: deploy drogue, & storm sail; setting a cruising chute. Tour the West Med islands and prepare for the ARC 2020 with a few overnight and 2-3 day open sea journeys. This is in preparation for... TRIP #2 October 30 to December 21st ARC ATLANTIC CROSSING 2020 then haul out in St. Martin. DETAILS: Crew pays $30 US to the boat kitty and $620 USD for participation in the ARC includes 2 weeks of events in Las Palmas and events at the end in St. Lucia, plus your flights. I am hoping that the first trip proves to create a crew willing and able to do the ocean crossing. I am ready, are you?
