[ closed ] Mauritius to Richards Bay, South Africa Mauritius to South Africa ref 11736

wants 1 crew for Nimbus, Trintella 57a, m.

From Port Louis, Mauritius to Richards Bay, South Africa.

October 2019 to December 2019.

I am looking for crew to join me on Nimbus for the passage from Mauritius to Richards Bay, South Africa. This leg of the Indian Ocean is about 1750 miles long and has the distinction on being one of the more difficult passages in any around the world adventure due to the low pressure systems coming up from the southwest meeting the Agulhas current. We will likely make a stop in Reunion, about 350 miles south of Mauritius, prior to sailing the final 1400 miles to South Africa.

Sailing with a Rally: None

I'm looking for (gender): either

Cabins/Sleeping : own cabin-own bunk

Total people on board: 3

Crew roles: Qualified candidates will have had experience with multiple offshore passages, including positions as watch leader. The ability to perform functions such as sail handling and cooking are also required. Last but not least, a good sense of humor is always appreciated onboard! Please forward your sailing resume and list of references if you are interested.
