From Valetta, Malta to Las Palmas, GC, Spain.
September 2018 to October 2018.
I have available an opportunity to sail from Malta to Gibraltar and then on the Canary Islands. I would like additional crew in order to make longer passage legs to reach the Canaries by mid-to-late October. I need one or two crew members who can share in watch duties and manage the sailing of a ketch rig ... and some cooking while underway. This is our fourth year of ownership on our boat and my wife and I are well familiarized with her sailing characteristics and configurations. We would welcome a sailing couple to share the passages and adventures of the trip across and then out of the Mediterranean. **ADAGIO IS CURRENTLY UNDERWAY** from Malta (09 SEPT 2018). We can arrange to meet at a down-line location if desired. We are already fully crewed for ARC 2018 so I am unable to offer any spots for that crossing. However, if you already have a crew slot on the ARC and need passage to the Canaries, this could be a good opportunity. Easy going retired couple looking for crew members who enjoy tranquility and the slow pace of sailing. Having said that, we will definitely not shy away from a multi-day push if the weather is right. The boat is well outfitted and ready for passage.
