Hello ! I'm looking for experienced crew (3 or possibly 4) to participate in the ARC Caribbean 1500 (Virginia to Tortola) departing around Nov. 1, 2014. Boat is Pacific Seacraft 37 (1988) in great shape. I've primarily sailed on the Great Lakes, though have some blue water experiences crew. I am 59, fit, half-marathoner, physician, non-smoker. Ideal crew will be experienced in this type of sailing, outgoing, outstanding team member, with some particular skill (e.g. cooking, navigating, mechanical), looking to make this a safe, fast, fun voyage.

Crew roles: Everyone will share responsibilities equally in all sailing tasks including (but not limited to) watch keeping, sail handling, cooking, maintenance, navigation, log keeping. I'm looking for crew that are can-do, outgoing, positive, able, intelligent, safe, sane, and experienced in ocean passagemaking, who have good judgement and good morale. Teamwork is key.
