From Three mile Harbor , Ling Island , New York, United States to Newfoundland , Canada.
July 2022 to November 2021.
Me and my wife are scientists, living and working in Manhattan, New York. We are German citizens and the US permanent residents. We are sociable, fit and psychologically stable. We own the 1998 Able Apogee 50 and sail her around New England, most recently to Maine. During last few years we have joined several RYA courses and gained the Coastal Skipper license plus 600 ocean miles in North Atlantic. We are sufficiently skillful in handling the boat, have reasonable navigation skills , but not particularly good in fixing the broken engine or electric wiring. We are looking for an experienced captain with an outstanding leadership and communication skills who will be also willing to train us to become better sailors. Our plan is to sail from Long Island , New York to Newfoundland , Canada in 2022 followed by Canada to Greenland and Ireland in 2023 followed by Ireland to Norway in 2024.
