From Cork, Ireland to Chaguaramas, Trinidad & Tobago.

May 2016 to February 2017.

We are a young and energetic group of people looking for like-minded people to take part in the adventure of a lifetime, and share the costs related to it. We will set sail from Ireland, sailing north on the beautiful west coast, head north of Scotland and go to the Orkney and Shetland Islands. From Shetland we head over to Norway and sail the Norwegian coastline north exploring the fjords and mountains as we go. From Tromsø we set sail towards Bjørnøya and Svalbard. After a week or two in the arctic we hope to have seen some fantastic wildlife and nature. When we are done we head back south, sailing towards Spain and Morocco to warm our toes and climb the Atlas Mountains. Approximate timeframe: Leg 1: May 16th Leg 2: June Leg 3+4: July Leg 5+6+7: August / September Svalbard is the most northernly settlement and it has more polar bears than people. Situated north of mainland Europe, it is about midway between continental Norway and the North Pole. The islands of the group range from 74° to 81° north latitude, and from 10° to 35° east longitude. We will sail along the Norwegian fjords up to Tromsø and then set out on a noth passage to Bjørnøya and finally Svalbard. Give me a shout if you are interested to join the crew this spring.
