This year Sailing Logic are offering delivery opportunities to and from Ireland. The yacht is being delivered ahead of a racing event which provides a deadline, so this trip is more purposeful than cruises where the destination is weather dependent. On a delivery the destination is set and your task is to reach the destination within the proposed timeframe, therefore sometimes these deliveries are made non-stop, and sometimes include a stop. These delivery legs do include crossing the Irish Sea, therefore experience of RYA Day Skipper (or equivalent) is recommended. Hamble - Wicklow Delivery Dates: Monday 13 June - Meet in Port Hamble at 9am to prepare the yacht for departure. Yacht arrives in Wicklow by early afternoon on Friday 17th June Checkout time - Leave the yacht by Friday evening Distance: The 375NM trip should take approximately 4 days. In order to make the most of the prevailing weather conditions, please expect exact timings to be determined nearer to the time. Cost: £395 per person What's Included: All mooring fees, fuel, food whilst on board, staying on board Monday - Friday evening (please bring a sleeping bag), professional skipper.Waterproofs are available to hire. Wicklow - Hamble Delivery Dates: Saturday 25 June - Meet in Wicklow Harbour Saturday morning ready for an early afternoon departure. Arrive back in Hamble Wednesday 29 June. Distance: The 375NM trip should take approximately 4 days. Please expect exact timings to be determined nearer to the time within this window to be determined nearer to the time, based on the weather. Cost: £395 per person What's Included: All mooring fees, fuel, food whilst on board, staying on board from Saturday lunchtime until return to Hamble (please bring a sleeping bag), professional skipper. Waterproofs are available to hire if booked in advance.
