[ Archived ] Grenada to ABC Islands via Los Roques (and grenadines) Aug 2018 Grenada to Curacao ref 9845

From Woburn Bay, Grenada to will see, Curacao.
August 2018 to September 2018.
Hello my name is Lars and i am looking for one person as crew to sail for a month from Grenada to the ABC islands with me on my 27 ft Albin Vega. My plan is to start somewhere around the 10th to mid august from the south of grenada to the Los Roques archipelago and stay there for maybe 2 weeks. Afterwards sailing to aruba to pick up my mum there somewhere around the 8th of september and sail back to Bonaire or Curacao, where you and i would part ways. This last headwind action sadly has to be part of the whole trip but is not yet decided 100 %. It is also possible that we sail directly to Bonaire or Curacao. On grenada the trip will start somewhere around Woburn Bay/Hog Island. It is also possible to first sail up to the grenada part of the grenadines for a few days and sail to Los Roques from there, i am considering that option. I am living on my 8.25 meter Albin Vega since 4 months, I crossed the atlantic on her 2 months ago and cruise the caribbean since. I am looking for a person with a little bit of sailing experience, you should at least have been on a boat for a few times and know the basics of sailing. You should know that 8.25 meter is very small and there is no luxury on board, there is a toilet in the forward cabin but no shower, i bath in the sea or with a camping shower on the boom. I am currently installing additional solar panels and a fridge, so there is room for a few cold beers ;) But apart from the small size, she is a lovely boat and so seaworthy, i have not felt unsafe once since living on her. Of course i have all the licenses and sailing experience. For the longer trip to and from Los Roques we will share shifts. If there is the need to go into a marina or onto a mooring, we will share the costs but i am planning on anchoring 99 percent of the time. If there are any immigration or custom costs we will also share these. Regarding provisioning we will just go shopping together before we leave. I don't charge any money for the trip but if you feel like chipping in some bucks for some of the repairs that always come up, i would be very pleased but as i said, i want you to decide what you think it is worth in the end of the trip. I am 33 years old and i am originally from germany. I bought the boat after the atlantic crossing and plan to live on it for a long time. I live in the forward cabin and you get a bunk in the main room and a lot of storage space for your things. It ís like sleeping on my couch ;) I think we should skype or video call to get to know each other properly. What do you think ? If you are interested, shoot me a message. Looking forward to hearing from you. Greetings Lars
