From Gold Coast, Australia to Hobart, Australia.

January 2017 to February 2017.

The trip involves following the coast from Gold Coast to Eden with a crossing of the Bass Strait then onwards down the east coast of Tasmania to Hobart. Some overnight sailing will be required but where possible this will be a relaxed and enjoyable trip with the Bass Strait crossing undertaken only in forecast calm conditions. In February 2017 Nirvana is participating in the RYCT VDL circumnavigation of Tasmania, a rally involving 45 vessels. This crewing opportunity represents the passage down to the start of the rally and there is the opportunity by mutual agreement for crew to stay on board for all or part of the circumnvigation and/or return journey to Brisbane. Alternatively, crew may disembark in Hobart.
