From Gibraltar, Gibraltar to Las Palmas/Gran Canaries , Spain.

Sailing on the Atlantic from Gibraltar/Malaga over Madeira to Gran Canarias. We aim to visit the Madeira islands for some days to enjoy this very special place. Joining for parts of the trip (Gibraltar-Madeira and/or Madeira to Gran Canarias may be an option) If you a want to build ocean sailing experience, this is a great opportunity. The boat is a Beneteau 473 with 4 cabins, and there is room for 2-3 additional crew. The boat is prepared for ocean sailing with all saftety equipment and is going to cross the Atlantic in November (no available seats for the crossing). If you are going on the ARC / ARC+ and want to practice prior to the trip - this is an excellent opportunity to do so. You will learn and practice ocean sailing - incl. provisioning, safety routines, watch-leading etc.

Crew roles: Easy going crew with a shared interest in ocean sailing and seeking experience and building milage. You may be a familiy, a couple or single - does not matter as long as you are ready mentally to be onboard on the ocean with strangers for 3-5 days without seeing land. Bunk fee is 35 EUR/Day. Other costs are shared (food, drink, fuel, mooring).
