From Kemah Texas (in Galveston Bay), United States to Freeport, Bahamas.

March 2020 to March 2020.

Leaving early March. Plan to have 3-4 aboard all with watch responsibilities. Route expected is heading from Galveston towards the Florida Keys (route will be informed by weather routing information). The following the Gulf current north and into Bahamas. Freeport is the goal but this may be adjusted. Skipper is ASA Instructor (Basic Keelboat; Coastal Cruising & Bareboat chartering).

I'm looking for (gender): either

Cabins/Sleeping : shared cabin-hot bunk

Smoking on board: non-smokers only

Total people on board: 3

Crew roles: Crew needs previous sailing experience although skipper will provide some training and orientation. Need to be comfortable as watch captain with clear direction/training from skipper. Must bring own ocean PFD with sprayhood and crotch strap. Must secure their own travel insurance. Personal Locator beacon preferred. Good habits, nonsmoking and keeps things in order. Follows direction well but enjoys being part of a team. Careful with equipment. Healthy. Passion for sailing is important.
