Joerg Esdorn wants 1 crew for Kincsem , Amel 55, m.
From Santa Cruz, Galapagos to Hiva Oa, French Polynesia.
March 2025 to March 2025.
I am looking for one more person for this ocean passage, which is part of the World ARC 2025-2026. Kincsem is an extremely well equipped Amel 55 from 2016 and I have cruised her for over 25,000 miles since she was new in 2016. She has proven her seaworthiness many times and is very comfortable in all conditions and perfectly maintained. She won Class A of the Cruising Division in the 2023 ARC. The start date in Santa Cruz, Galapagos, is firm but the end date may be different by a few days depending on the weather conditions for the 3,000 mile passage. I will pay for all expenses related to the boat (including World ARC fees) but we share food and drink ratably. Everyone pays his or her own travel to and from the boat.
What roles/experience are needed (Crew 1): Watch-leader
Sailing with a Rally: None
I'm looking for (gender): female
Cabins/Sleeping : own cabin-own bunk
Smoking on board: non-smokers only
Total people on board: 4
Crew roles: Looking for an experienced crew who can go single handed watches - with the autopilot running of course. We take turns for all jobs on board, including cooking, cleaning, watches, etc. So far, we are 3 married men in our sixties but I prefer to have both men and women on board. So would prefer a female as the fourth crew.
Money: expenses shared equally
Travel to and from boat: crew pays
