[ Cancelled ] France to Canary Islands France to Spain ref 14184

Mark Davies wants 2 crew for Bluevana, Lagoon, m.

From La Rochelle - Port Des Minimes, France to Marina Las Palmas, Spain.

May 2023 to June 2023.

We will sail from La Rochelle, France with final destination of Canary Islands. After we cross the Bay of Biscay and land in Coruna, Spain, we will be hopping along the coast of Spain, Portugal and Gibraltar. I will be exploring the Canary Islands over the summer and will cross the Atlantic with the ARC in November. We are planning on leaving La Rochelle mid May (15th to 20th ish) depending on weather windows. I anticipate we will get to Gibraltar in about 3-4 weeks. Timing will depend on weather and where we decide to stop and for how long. There are a lot of beautiful places to explore and great marinas with good food and drinks. The boat is bluewater ready and has luxury upgrades such as AC/Heat, watermaker, Integrel power generation and lithium house bank, solar on aft arches as well as TV, microwave/oven, induction cook top and an enclosed cockpit/helm and more. Also have internet via Starlink. The boat is equipped with AIS, radar, EPIRB, offshore lift raft, VHF and all the safety equipment for offshore sailing. My brother is with me for the entire trip and others are joining for legs. There are 4 private double cabins and 1 single sleeping area. I will likely only have 4-5 people on the boat so everyone has their own cabin. However, couples or friends can share a cabin. I have sailed in the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada and the Med. I am retired, married and the kids are grown and out on their own. I am responsible, capable, reliable but like to have fun and love adventures. I exercise, eat healthy and have a no alcohol or drug policy while underway. However, do enjoy cocktails and good beer on land!

Mark is currently based in Peoria, United States
