[ closed ] First Mate for Trans-Atlantic Crossing Canary Islands to Antigua & Barbuda ref 12581

Matt Griswold wants 1 crew for Trifecta, Fountaine-Pajot Saona 47, m.
From Las Palmas, Canary Islands to Jolly Harbor, Antigua & Barbuda.
December 2020 to December 2020.
I am looking for a “first mate” to join our crew across the Atlantic, departing from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on December 1 and arriving to Antigua 18-19 days later. Searching for an experienced sailor with at least one ocean crossing (Atlantic or Pacific), given the senior role. All other crew positions have been filled; but my first mate had to pull out due to COVID border restrictions. Crew responsible for their own travel and testing requirements; I will pickup all provisions.
What roles/experience are needed (Crew 1): Watch-leader
Sailing with a Rally: None
I'm looking for (gender): either
Cabins/Sleeping : shared cabin-hot bunk
Smoking on board: non-smokers only
Total people on board: 6
Crew roles: Given the seniority of the role, any applicant must be a proven sailor with at least one ocean crossing in the recent past. Catamaran sailing experience is a bonus, but not necessary. Good seamanship, attitude, and experience is what I’m after for this role. I will rely on the first mate to be a proactive thinker, taskmaster, and jovial sailor for the next 3000nm! Crew will be responsible to pay their travel and testing (a PCR-test will be required in the Canary Islands, prior to departure, as a condition to arriving in Antigua). I will pickup the provisions.
Money: captain pays all expenses
Travel to and from boat: crew pays
