Katie Smith wants 2 crew for Flite Deck, Seawind 1160 Lite, m.

From Vuda Marina, Nadi Fiji, Fiji to Bundaberg, Australia.

April 2024 to May 2024.

I plan on arriving in Fiji mid March to get the boat ready to sail to Australia and hopefully depart in early April. It will be approximately a month long trip, possibly stopping in Vanuatu and New Caledonia, or just one of those. I would prefer two crewmembers but would be okay with one. I want crew who are experienced ocean sailors with maintenance skills. I will pay the boat expenses. Crew will get themselves to Fiji and pay personal expenses, including their own customs or immigration fees. We will split provisioning. My insurance company does require a sailing resume. I look forward to talking to interested persons.

Crew roles: I'd like experienced sailors who understand the flexibility required to cruise. There is a lot of work and a lot of joy in cruising. It's not luxurious but it's adventurous, educatonal and rewarding. Sometimes it's relaxing and most of the time it's fun. I also need someone who has the maintenance skills that I would love to learn but currently lack.
