Fastnet Race 2025 celebrates the 100 years of this oldest Ocean race in Europe and will gather a record big fleet to sail from Cowes, the Mecca of sailing around the Fastnet lighthouse on the SE coast of Ireland and back across the Irish Sea to the English Channel and finish line and prize giving ceremonies in Cherbourg. Galiana lost her brand new mast in the 2023 Fastnet Race, so we have some unfinished business. The mast was repaired and was strong enough to be sailed through the Southern Ocean and round Cape Horn in the Ocean Globe Race 2023, so this time we will make through the 650 nm classic. We will have a professional photographer onboard, so you will have pics to prove you have raced in the Fastnet. We'll also have a pro chef, so we'll eat well, regardless of the conditions. The price of the race includes five preparation days in Cowes. If you are inexperienced, please join us for an offshore training passage before the race.
