[ Cancelled ] Eastern Med Turkey to Greece ref 5991

mark pentilescu wants 2 crew for Schrodinger's Cat, Hanse 445, 13.5m.

From Fethyie, Turkey to Kalamata, Greece.

May 2016 to November 2016.

I'm a life-long sailor from San Diego, CA. Just purchased a 2014 Hanse 445 which is currently berthed in Turkey.Long range plan is a circumnavigation, but with no time constraints. I'd like to sail north up the coast of Turkey June and July and into the Black Sea for July-August: Bulgaria, Romania and Sevastopol. Would like to leave boat there for a couple of weeks, fly to the Caucasus and climb Mt. Elbrus. Back to Turkey, island hop through the Greek islands and find a winter marina (probably in Kalamata or possibly Malta or maybe Crete... depends on) I'm a retiring college theatre professor; I don't smoke and drink in moderation and only after the sailing is done. I've sailed with 'crew list' mates previously and it worked out marvelously. I'm looking for one-two crew for either all or good portions of the trip. I'm financially responsible for boat expenses, fuel and 1/2 of marina fees. Though I prefer to anchor and marina stays will be as needed. We share food costs. If we stay in a marina and I leave the boat for a day or week, I pay for the marina. OK, so I needed a medical procedure before I could start this journey. Thought I could be scheduled for Feb. Turns out I won't see the surgeon till April. This puts my entire summer on hold. I will re-post once I am sure of dates. Sorry.
