[ Cancelled ] East Coast Sail Florida to Marlynad United States to United States ref 12904

Vincent Davena wants 1 crew for Our Peace, 450 Sport Top, m.

From fort pierce, United States to annapolis, United States.

June 2021 to June 2021.

We aim to sail on June 15th 2021 from Ft. Pierce FLA to Annapolis MD. The date of departure will be based on weather and comfort with crew and boat safety. The crew on the boat will be my 17 and 15 year old sons who have been standing watch for the past 8000 sea miles, we run cyclical watches so each of us have night and day watches. The crew on this journey will be taking my wife's spot as she is heading back to work early. Our family has each received a first shot of COVID vaccine, but we wait to arrive in MD to receive the second shot as we don't want to get ill at sea. We've been tested a great deal and are confident we don't have Covid at this time. We hope our crew for this trip has completed their vaccine shots as well. We will cover all food expenses and are not sure what other protocals are typical.

What roles/experience are needed (Crew 1): does not matter

Sailing with a Rally: Independent

I'm looking for (gender): either

Cabins/Sleeping : own cabin-own bunk

Smoking on board: non-smokers only

Total people on board: 4

Crew roles: I would like someone who is capable sailing on their own, but is looking for more experience. I would expect that the person has sailed roughly 5 days overnight on a passage, or more. Navigation, and mechanical work is not required, we would love someone who is willing to cook a shift, stand a day and night watch, be willing to follow typical sea going rules of watch and is willing to join us on this amazing passage. Simply put, I cannot add a liability to the boat, as I will not endanger my family in any way. However, we would love to add a fun loving and easy going spirit who is looking to join us on this passage. Also, it should be known that we fish a LOT, we'd like someone capable of sailing while we reel in fish. This is not a big deal, but I wanted to mention it as some people may be turned off by fishing/filleting etc. The crew needs no fishing experience, just willingness to be around the sport.

Money: expenses shared equally

Travel to and from boat: negotiable
