[ Cancelled ] Cork, Ireland to Scillies- on to Brest, France Ireland to France ref 15054
From Crosshaven, Ireland to Brest, France.
January 2024 to January 2024.
Cork, Ireland to the Scillies - and on to Brest, France Looking for two experienced crew for a trip from Crosshaven, Cork, to the Scillies, around a 24 to 30 hour trip. Will then head to Brest in northern France or a port nearby; again a 24 to 30 hour estimate. I'm covering all onboard expenses, food, fuel, marina fees etc. The boat is a Vindo 40 ('40' relates to the sail plan only - the boat is 31ft - 9.43m LOA) a small but comfortable blue water classic with AIS, EPIRB, Navionics, Chartplotter, Autohelm etc on board and has proven to cope admirably in adverse conditions. Boat is ultimately heading for the Spanish and Portuguese coasts with a final destination in Albufeira, Portugal. If a good three day bullet proof weather window can be obtained then a Biscay crossing to northern Spain is a possibility, with new crew, or the original if they so desire. Crew can commit to all or only stages of the trip.
