Looking for a Chef for a charter in the Exumas. Dates are 12/20 to 29 of this year. This is a paid temporary position that might turn into a more permanent role. Beautiful New Hylas 57 Sailing Yacht. The Yacht recently returned from her east coast victory tour of being awarded boat of the year for as well as best in show in Newport RI. Annapolis International Boat show for 2022. She was designed by super yacht Naval architect Bill Dixon for Hylas Yachts . The luxurious and well thought out accommodations spare no expense to make guests feel at home. She’s absolutely breathtaking. Hydraulic in-mast furling mainsail is standard making reefing a breeze Electric primary, secondary winches and Hydraulic outhaul make furling sails and tending the reacher sheets fingertip control Lithium Battery banks and 2000 watt Solar panels on hard top allow for running the air-conditioning without running the generator for over 12 hours. This is a 12-day engagement providing elevated onboard dining for guests who appreciate fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented meals in a relaxed, island-luxury setting. Responsibilities: • Plan and execute daily menus (breakfast, lunch, dinner + snacks) tailored to guest preferences. • Source fresh provisions in Nassau/Exumas prior to departure. • Maintain an organized galley and follow safe food-handling practices. • Prepare meals efficiently in a yacht galley with attention to motion, storage, and space constraints. • Collaborate with captain/crew to ensure seamless guest experience. Requirements: • Prior experience as a yacht chef, private chef, or high-end resort chef preferred. • Strong knowledge of Caribbean ingredients and seafood. • Ability to provision and operate independently. • Professional, friendly, calm under pressure, and excellent with guests. • Must be available for the full charter dates: 12/19/25 – 12/30/25.
