John Applegate wants 1 crew for Serenity, X-Yachts XP55, 17m.

From Portsmouth VA, United States to Nanny Cay, Virgin Islands - British.

November 2018 to November 2018.

This voyage will be with the World Cruising Club's Caribbean 1500 Rally departing early November 2018. We are beginning planning the trip early as we like to have things planned out in advanced. Current crew is made up owner, wife and close friend. We are looking to add a 4th and possibly a 5th to complete the roster. All crew have sailing experience but no long passage experience. We are looking for not only extra hands but also someone with offshore experience. The vessel is a new 55 footer that will be spending her summers in New England and winters in the Caribbean.

John is currently based in Dallas, United States

What roles/experience are needed (Crew 1): Watch-leader

Sailing with a Rally: Caribbean 1500

I'm looking for (gender): Female

Cabins/Sleeping : own cabin-own bunk

Smoking on board: non-smokers only

Total people on board: 5

Crew roles: Crew roles would be a watch leader and would entail normal duties that will be shared by all. We have no gender specific duties on board our boat as everyone pitches in and does what is needed. We would prefer a female with offshore experience to ensure some proper gender balance on the boat and plus the wife is also demanding it...so it will happen :)

Money: paid position

Travel to and from boat: captain pays
