Myself and my partner Maia are looking for one experienced crew to join us on passage from Mindelo, Sao Vicente, Cap Verde, to Salvador, Brazil. We recently sailed from Canaries to Cap Verde, wihch was a great passage and passed without any problems, the boat handles ocean seas very well as long keeler classic Nicholson design. We have all modern safety equipment to ARC rally spec, sat phone, Epirb etc. We have a modern lifejacket for crew if necessary. We are hoping to make passage to Brazil in the near future. The boat is currently in Mindelo. We require someone with lots of experience probably kind of Yachtmaster level, with offshore experience, who can do their part on solo watch, trim sails, maintain navigation, keep an eye on the Hydrovane, and can do their part of cooking and cleaning duties which we will all share. We speak English on board, but have also Spanish and French if necessary. We have an aft cabin, a saloon berth and a forwards cabin available for sleeping. The boat is comfotable for a crew of three. We two are mainly vegetarians and non-smokers. We require the person to be a non-smoker. The crew will pay their share of fuel and food and will find their own transport to and from the boat.
