During 2022 I have sailed Portugal (Portimao) - Gibraltar - Alicante-Ibiza-Mallorca-Corsica-Valencia-Gibraltar-Madiera-Gran Canaria as the first part of a circumnavigation. January 7th, 2023 I will sail to Cape Verde. The route and plan for the next parts of the circumnavigation is as follows. First Cap Verde - Grenada in the Caribbean. Embarking in Cape Verde, Mindelo, is January 17th, 2023. ETA to Grenada is early February 2023. This Atlantic crossing will be with 25 other boats in a friendly rally. Then it will be island hopping in the Caribbean between February and May, 2023, and December 2023 until May 2024. After that the boat will go through the Panama channel and cross the Pacific. Crew are welcome on separate parts or all of the plan above (provided mutual interest). Beside male or female crew I’m also open for a relation with a women to share life at sea with. The boat is a Hallberg-Rassy 42 (F mkII) equipped for long distance sailing (watermaker, Epirb, sattelite communication with Iridium and Starlink, liferaft, radar, AIS, VHF, large solarpanels etc).
