From Funchal, Madeira to Lisboa, Portugal.

We will bring the boat back to mainland Portugal, as we want to spend the winter there, and be ready for our trip to the North Atlantic islands early next spring. My wife will not be joining for health reasons, so it will be just me and my 12 year old daughter. We expect it to be rather challenging. Nevertheless, we would like to be as comfortable and secure as we can, so we will wait for a reasonable good weather window (from what "good" means in November in these latitudes). Therefore, enough time flexibility is important. We expect to travel 3-4 for days to Madeira, and from there 6-8 days to Mainland Portugal, both mostly up the wind. We expect not too much traffic, but changing wind conditions, so regular sail change will be the most of the work on shifts. And cooking and eating of course. We are in any case looking for crew from Madeira to Lisboa. For the first leg, we are also open to do it on our own just the two of us. There will be a double cabin available for the crew, so best is a single person or a couple.

Crew roles: The main requirements for crew are: * Enough experience offshore so that you are confident that you will stand a rough journey of this length. * Reliable to do a watch, and admit to call for help if you can't handle the situation alone.

Money: captain pays all expenses

Travel to and from boat: negotiable
