Crew roles: I am looking for a crew member to sail with me double-handed on the leg of my circumnavigation from Mauritius to Cape Town. I am sailing the World ARC with my wife Nicole. However, Nicole will fly to Europe for this leg, so I need a sailing partner. I am looking for experience in offshore sailing. This especially includes being seaworthy. Since the Hallberg Rassy 54’s sails are set and reefed from the cockpit, many tasks still require working on deck in heavy weather. Therefore, it is essential that the sailing partner has corresponding experience alongside me. I expect experience in sail handling.
