Sailing across the Bay of Biscay is on the to do list for many yachtsmen. Why, because it has gained itself a fierce reputation for strong winds and big waves and so crossing it safely is a big achievement. This will be our 12th southbound crossing of the Bay of Biscay aboard Velvet Lady. Yes the weather can be rough, we choose carefully when to leave Plymouth, but what better way to experience it than on a good solid 55 foot Oyster. This is a commercial trip on an MCA coded vessel with your professional Skipper and Mate Lin and Richard. Join us in Plymouth on 6th October and disembark La Coruna on 16thOctober. I'm looking for (gender): either

Cabins/Sleeping : shared cabin-own bunk

Smoking on board: non-smokers only

Total people on board: 6

Crew roles: You will participate in a watch system with plenty of helming and sail handling, lots of opportunities to practice your navigation skills with coaching if required. You will not be expected to cook but help with the washing up is much appreciated.
