[ Cancelled ] Bermuda to Azores and then Falmouth, UK. May 2017 Bermuda to United Kingdom ref 8252

Chris Claydon wants 1 crew for Ohana, Custom built, 15m.

From St Georges, Bermuda to Falmouth, United Kingdom.

May 2017 to June 2017.

Sail a well equipped cruising catamaran across the Atlantic from Bermuda to the UK, probably stopping in the Azores. I'm an experienced offshore skipper holding a commercially endorsed YachtMaster and many tens of thousands of miles of safe, incident-free offshore sailing. This is the final leg of our voyage from New Zealand to the UK. I have three great crew in their 20s and 30s lined up, all near Day Skipper level and all have medical qualifications. I can take one more experienced person as Mate/reserve skipper. We are not an official entry in ARC Europe but we will be crossing by the same route at the same time so we will have many of the benefits of crossing with a fleet.

What roles/experience are needed (Crew 1): Watch-leader

Sailing with a Rally: ARC Europe

I'm looking for (gender): either

Cabins/Sleeping : own cabin-own bunk

Smoking on board:

Total people on board: 5

Crew roles: All crew take an equal role in watch keeping cooking and cleaning. I'm looking for an experienced offshore crew member with some experience as skipper who can navigate, carry out repairs and maintenance on all onboard systems and most importantly can take on the role of skipper if I'm incapacitated. You should preferably hold an RYA coastal skipper or yachtmaster certificate. Sea survival, ssb radio, diesel engines would be useful skills too.

Money: daily contribution from crew $25

Travel to and from boat: crew pays
