From Alcaidesa Marina, Gibraltar to Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia.

November 2021 to December 2021.

Hi! We are looking for an experienced person(s) to accompany us on our Hanse 458 during this years ARC (and possibly beyond!). We are a couple from New Zealander (Ash 28yo and James 36yo) and have been sailing around the Med for the last two seasons. You can find us on Instagram at @follow_intuition. As yet we have not completed an ocean crossing and have no blue water experience so we are looking for an experienced person to assist on board to ensure we cross safely! Once across we plan to spend a few months in the Caribbean and then transit the Panama Canal and sail the Pacific. If we find the right person and have fun we may extend the invitation to continue with us after the ARC if that is of interest.

What roles/experience are needed (Crew 1): does not matter

Sailing with a Rally: None

I'm looking for (gender): either

Cabins/Sleeping : own cabin-own bunk

Smoking on board: non-smokers only

Total people on board: 5

Crew roles: The ideal person will: 1) have significant blue water experience and have completed at lease one significant ocean crossing. 2) have an in depth knowledge of boat systems (mechanical, electrical, etc) to assist in trouble shooting, maintenance and repairs while at sea. 3) be a competent ocean navigator 4) have skills and experience in all other areas integral to a successful and safe Atlantic crossing. We consider ourselves social and fun and want someone who wants to have a good time and enjoy themselves too. Ideally we would prefer someone of similar age to us. This is an unpaid position but we will cover all boat expenses and all food/drink while aboard. We will possibly be continuing on into the Pacific in 2022 and would consider extending the position if that is of interest!

Money: captain pays all expenses
