Timothy Corner wants 2 crew for ROHKEA, Nautor Swan 46 Mk 2, 14.1m.
From To be decided, Canary Islands to Fort de France, Martinique.
November 2019 to December 2019.
Sail Canaries to Caribbean on board Swan 46 Rohkea. Rohkea sailed across to the Caribbean in the ARC+ in 2018 and this year we are going it alone with a view to completing a second Atlantic circuit in 2020. Rohkea is well equiped with all required safety gear, water maker, radar, fridge, freezer, generator and other equipment needed to ensure safe and comfortable ocean cruising. We plan to cross to St Lucia or Martinique (happy to deliver crew to either island). Martinique is probably the best island to fly back to europe from and St Lucia is good if you are looking for an onward passage. Looking for crew experienced enough to take a three hour watch in normal sailing conditions. We have wind vane steering as well as auto pilot so a three hour watch is not too onerous.
What roles/experience are needed (Crew 1): Watch-leader
What roles/experience are needed (Crew 2): does not matter
Sailing with a Rally: None
I'm looking for (gender): either
Cabins/Sleeping : shared cabin-own bunk
Smoking on board: non-smokers only
Total people on board: 4-6
Crew roles: Looking for reliable, easy going crew experienced enough to take a three hour solo watch in normal sailing conditions. Previous ocean sailing experience preferred but not required. This should be about a three week crossing. Shared costs.
Money: expenses shared equally $1200
Travel to and from boat: crew pays
