FL on board "Crown Royal" a Beneteau Oceais 510 With (2) ASA Certified Instructors, USCG Master Captains Room for (6) Students Plan is to have (2) students and (1) instructor on watch at all times Students will be have (2) 4 hrs watches and (2) 8 hrs off periods per each 24 hour day Voyage should take 4-6 Days weather permitting January 11, 2019 Friday: arrive in Charleston South Carolina January 12, 2019 Saturday: Shore training January 13, 2019 Sunday: Depart Charleston mid day to begin sailing (weather permitting) January 14-19, 2019 : Training (ETA to Fort Myers Saturday January 19, 2019) January 20, 2019 Sunday: Leave Fort Myers for home The cost of this Basic Voyage is $2499 per person for the knowledge and experience of an offshore sailing trip (prerequisite ASA 104 or above or equivalent knowledge and experience).

We will be teaching a list of many valuable Skills and techniques as outlined in the ASA Certification program. You also have the option to be ASA certified for any or all of the below listed classes, they are listed below with costs & prerequisite. ASA annual Membership: $39 ASA log Book: $14 ASA 101: May be challenged if you do not have it prior to this class at $400/class + books ASA 103: May be challenged if you do not have it prior to this class at $400/class + books ASA 104: May be challenged if you do not have them prior to this class (additional time may be required) $900 + Book ASA 105: Advance Navigation $299 + dvd and book ASA 106: Advanced coastal cruising $499 + Books ASA 117: Basic Celestrial Navigation $199 + book ASA 107: Advanced Celestrial Navigation $499 includes (117) + book ASA 108: Offshore Passage making (prerequisite is ASA 101, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107 or equivalent knowledge and experience) + additional $1499. ASA Certification will be available with written testing and skill testing with above additional Fees. Books should be purchased and studied in advanced of the trip. Chart plotter with many navigation, routing, charting and predict wind programs. We will also have meterologist Chis Parker for weather advising along our route. All food aboard will be included (please make note of any special diet requirements). We will be posting to our Blog and FaceBook pages. We teach basic sailing classes in Port Sanilac and advanced preparation for cruising during summer months than advanced coastal cruising, and offshore passages making around the world.
