Poli Poli will depart from Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne UK, on 20th May 2019 for a "shakedown" sail along the south coast of England to the big naval port of Plymouth in the south west. On June 2nd. we will depart from Plymouth as part of the ARCPortugal Rally heading off across the Bay of Biscay to North West Spain. Sailing as part of a fleet of yachts, we will cross the Bay of Biscay ( approx 5 days ) to the port of Baiona in NW Spain. Then it will be a series of day sails only as the fleet moves south down the coast of Portugal to Lagos in the Algarve, Here on June 27th the ARCPortugal rally will finish. After a "rest" in Lagos, Poli Poli will move on by day sailing along the Costa de Luz of Spain until finally berthing in Gibraltar... about mid July 2019. This sailing opportunity is offered as follows: Eastbourne to Gibraltar ( May 20th to mid July ). Plymouth to Lagos ( June 2nd to June 27th ) Or variations starting at Eastbourne/Plymouth and finishing at Lagos/Gibraltar.

What roles/experience are needed (Crew 1): Watch-leader

Sailing with a Rally: ARC Portugal

I'm looking for (gender): either

Cabins/Sleeping : shared cabin-own bunk

Smoking on board: non-smokers only

Total people on board: 3

Crew roles: Experienced sailor who is capable of standing a three hour watch on a sailing boat.... on his or her own. This will only happen on the 5 day Bay of Biscay crossing Plymouth to Baiona in Spain. The rest of the route is day sailing.

Money: expenses shared equally $One third share of Rally costs,

Travel to and from boat: crew pays
