I have an Opportunity for two crew to join me on a trip leaving from Gibraltar in early November and travelling down to the Canaries in time for the start of the ARC rally 2020 The Crew will meet in Gibraltar on the 1st November (to be confirmed) and will provision the boat so that we are ready to leave Gibraltar for a timed arrival in the Canaries on the 9th November The rally actually departs the Canaries on the 22nd Nov (to be confirmed) and in the two weeks leading u to the Rally there are crew training, seminars and boat scrutineering to be attended to before qualifying to start the rally. What roles/experience are needed (Crew 2): Watch-leader

Sailing with a Rally: None

I'm looking for (gender): either

Cabins/Sleeping : own cabin-own bunk

Total people on board: 5

Crew roles: I currently have two very experienced crew members from Germany joining me. This couple has sailed extensively from the German coast and throughout the Mediterranean on their own catamaran and I am looking for skill sets that complement our own experience. Preference will be given to crew with mechanical and rigging experience, provisioning and galley and other offshore experienced crew who believe they will provide helpful skills for the journey All visas and inoculations must be current and proof provided before acceptance. Expenses for food etc will be paid for by the Captain while on board during the journey itself, however, the crew are expected to pay for their own travel costs too and from the ports of call and shore activities. Departure from Gibraltar will be on the 3rd November weather permitting in time for an exit on the tide and crew are expected to be on board by the 1st to assist with provisioning. An earlier departure will depend on space being available for us in the Canaries as the marina will be full. I have estimated the dates above but typically the journey from Gibraltar to the Canaries will be 5 days where we then attend training seminars etc for the time leading up to the Rally start on the 22nd November 2020 This is an ideal mile building/ bucked list opportunity and I look forward to receiving your application stating experience to date

Money: captain pays all expenses
